What we want

The Temporary Research Assistant will assist in the development of fluid tomography applications using Dr Seers' newly commissioned lightsheet microscope.

General duties will include refining fluorophore doping and stock storage procedures, developing bespoke porous cells from PDMS, system calibration, static and dynamic imaging, image processing and visualization etc.

Required Education and Experience :

  • Appropriate Bachelor's or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
  • Responsibilities :

  • LSM system calibration and static imaging.
  • Live experimental imaging : developing data handling strategies for high volume / high throughput tomography datasets.
  • Development of PDMS cells / Nile Red / DAPI stock solutions.
  • QNRF report / paper write ups
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
