DohaAbout Your JobThe successful candidate will be a member of the Flight Deck Recruitment Team and will be accountable for ensuring that Qatar Airways Flight Deck has the right people, in the right place, at the right time to execute their business plans.
They will provide expert advice, data and recommendations to Hiring Managers to support key recruitment decisions (availability of talent in a given market / region, job description definition, long term sourcing strategies, interview & selection, and offer construction).
They will be a key member of a highly proactive Flight Deck Recruitment Team and champion the Candidate and Hiring Manager experience for the Qatar Airways Group.
A a member of the Flight Deck Recruitment Team, you will be responsible for sourcing, shortlisting and selecting candidates, using a variety of methods including overseas recruitment campaigns to attract suitably qualified and experienced Flight Deck candidates.
You will be responsible for filling an assigned number of open roles, interfacing with the FD pilot recruitment and selection team, and ensuring a high quality of hire, time to hire and hire costs.
Other duties include maintaining strong relationships with Hiring Manager, providing recruitment process coaching, ensuring a strong value proposition, implementing and developing recruiting strategies and recommendations around employment offers.
You will be part of a team coordinating and supporting all efforts to complete urgent tasks, auditing tracking databases, using a high level of accuracy and attention to for information and communication to candidates and consistency of competency testing techniques.
About YouYou will have a Bachelors degree from a recognized university that is related to HR or recruitment. You must be able to offer at least 5 years job related experience, working in Flight Deck recruitment or possibly HR recruitment.
The role demands working experience from a multicultural environment. You should have previous experience from search based recruitment models, previous experience in volume recruiting, have resourcing skills from a fast paced complex environment and be a positive influencer.
Excellent planning and organisational skills, political awareness and flexibility, resilience, tenacity, proactive research and a positive and adaptable manner with the know how to adapt and multitask quickly are all part of this role.
Solid English written and spoken English skills are absolutely critical.
