GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION A selfmotivated and resultsdriven General Manager who can direct and manage the organizations business activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs Allocates budget resources formulating policies coordinating business operations monitoring and motivating staff managing operational costs ensuring good customer service improving administration processes hiring and training employees identifying business opportunities and monitoring financial activities Having an entrepreneurial spirit and vision in directing business functions to assist the organization in maintaining relationships with clients generating new business increasing staff productivity improving service ensuring sustainability and meeting business objectives Possess excellent communication skills superior knowledge of business functions exceptional budgeting and finance skills and strong leadership qualities Accounts all business activities support staff development enhance efficiency drive sales and improve revenue maintain relationships with clients enhance the organizations image and meet overall growth objectives Allocates budget sources and sets a strategic plan to achieve the company s growth through a steady stream of profit and loss management DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance Conduct and document regular facilities inspections Ensure compliance with health and safety standards Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment Oversee facility refurbishment and renovations Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency Obtain quotes from vendors and suppliers Calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize costeffectiveness Negotiate contracts to optimize delivery and cost saving Coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers Manage contractor and vendor relationships Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met Ensure delivery schedules quantity and quality criteria are met Verify payment and invoicing match contract pricing Plan and monitor appropriate facility management staffing levels Ensure efficient utilization of facility maintenance staff Performance manage develop and train staff Prepare and track facility budget Monitor expenses and payments Generate and present regular reports and reviews of facilityrelated budgets finances contracts expenditures and purchases Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives Advise on and monitor energy efficiency Oversee environmental health and safety Assure security of the facility Provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants
