Core, Essential ResponsibilitiesLead the commercial delivery of the mix use development.Risk management to procurement, financial reporting and managing the supply chain.

Financial management of projects, budget and cost control for the overall programme.Claims Management review, identify and track causes, check validity, assess time and cost impacts and make recommendations to the client.

Contract Management and Administration including the supervision, review, monitoring, evaluation and reporting on all consultant and contractor contracts.

Among the qualities such individuals must possess are strong commercial awareness, strong client liaison skills, project management and team leadership.

They also need an extensive understanding of the construction industry, flexibility and a talent for negotiation Close-out of company’s previously completed projects.

Administer the Subcontract / Agreements including reviewing and approval the Subcontractors and Suppliers Payments.Posts award assists project teams by providing specialist input for the day to day commercial and contractual administration for both the evaluation of claims and / or requests for contract variations and the commercial close-out of contracts and Implement the company’s Contract Management Procedure.

Assistance to Projects in the Reviewing and Processing of BOQ breakdown and Payments, with Client / Consultant.Managing and guiding the process of contract to ensure that all contracting and claims requirements are met in order to achieve the company’s business objectives.

Managing the preparation of contract documentation to ensure clarity of scope, requirements, project deliverables and timing are in line with the business objectives.

Approving variation orders to ensure they are submitted to the department head for sign off.Administering post-contract correspondence, deed of assignments, novation agreements, and warranties.

Reviewing of contemporaneous records and time impact analyses to establish and report on validity of claim proposals.Developing the claim narrative in coordination with site-based teams and negotiating claims with the employer’s team.

Monitoring and coordinating contractual claims and variations orders and claims against the Government / client in conjunction with other Senior Managers and the Head of Contracts.

Drafting claim documents, supervising their compilation and representing the company at claims-related meetings with clients and consultants.

Minimum RequirementsEducation : University degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, business Administration or equivalent.

Experience : 7+ years or more of proven experience. Minimum 7 years in Commercial & Contract Administration.Training : Contract & Commercial Management certificate (CCM) Commercial Management Certificate.

Supplier Relationship Management.Contract Management and Procurement. MS Office Suite.CompetenciesKnowledge : Excellent communication skills and an excellent standard of written and spoken EnglishComputer literate.

Knowledge of construction contracts.Technically competent in formation of Contracts.General Planning, Coordination and knowledge of construction industry in general and Middle East’s in particular.

Ability transfer of learning / knowledge across projects.Ability to adapt and work in multi-cultural environment and with multi-national workforce irrespective of caste, color, creed or gender.

Previous experience in the construction industry.Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of construction methods, terminologies, processes, and systems.

Ability to read and understand plans, specifications and the various possibilities of BIM modelling.Must have working knowledge and experience with the following software applications as well as typically used terminology, standards, and practices : AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, TEKLA, MicroStation.

Knowledge of the commercial process with the ability to understand and interpret customer needs using fact-finding to identify sales opportunities.
