Grand Hyatt Doha has a unique opportunity for an experienced Director of Revenue to join the team.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Revenue is responsible for all technical accounting aspects of the Hotel's revenue streams.
This role provides key strategy in line with market conditions to ensure maximised REVPAR (Revenue per available room) supported by optimal occupancy and average daily room rate.
This role partners closely with the Hotel's Sales & Marketing and Rooms teams.
The Director of Revenue is to provide revenue accounting leadership and business best practices to the hotel.
What are we looking for in the successful candidate?
A University degree in Strategic Marketing or Hospitality / Tourism management.
An MBA would be an asset.
Previous cluster experience an asset.
Minimum 2 years work experience as Revenue Manager, or Director of Revenue in a similar sized property.
Strategic orientation, as well as good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
Thorough understanding of selling techniques and marketing concepts.
Well developed computer skills particularly in the use of MS Office (excel), Outlook and Delphi / Envision / Opera / RESERVE
Comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements.
Strong analytical skills to improve efficiency in cost control for all profit centres at the hotel.
Ability to develop integrated solutions which lead to increased profitability via Business Intelligence and Revenue Management practices.
