Opening mid-2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a Souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark.
The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination.
One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's waterpark attraction. The Icon Tower, is the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 meters in height.
Bartender / Barista - Hotel
This position requires more than just preparing and serving drinks. Must have a passion for mixology, the art, and science of creating innovative Hot beverages, coffee arts, cocktails, mocktails, and blended drinks with new or uncommon ingredients.
The Bartender will also be responsible for taking drink orders, interacting with customers, and making classic cocktails.
Also, collect and process payments, keep the bar stocked, and clear the tables.
This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs., standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, work outdoors, and ensure a professional appearance.
A beverage enthusiast, refine and can showcase the craft of creating cocktails, mocktails, hot drinks, and blending drinks.

What you will be doing :
Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
Assist guests regarding all food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way.
Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines.
Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions.
Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods.
Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
To prepare beverages for bar and patrons.
To interact with guests, take orders, and serve snacks and hot and cold drinks.
To assess bar customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
Prepare hot and cold beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
Prepare garnishes, stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies, and set up and maintain the cleanliness of the bar area.
Mix ingredients to prepare, plan and present bar menu, and restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the bar area and equipment.
Create and make a bright mixologist and look out for new beverage trends to create an energy that is both welcoming and exciting.
Take pride in offering our guests a diverse and seasonally-inspired beverage menu, and a warm conversation.
To use machinery, equipment, or dangerous substances in accordance with training and instruction received as defined as set out in standard operating procedures.
To assist in other areas of the outlet, such as cleaning up, shelf stocking, or keeping items displayed in an orderly manner.
To be responsible for the cash float throughout your shift and ensuring it balances correctly at the conclusion of the shift as set out in the standard operating procedures.
To be responsible for remitting the daily sales to cash control as set out in the standard operating procedures.
To adhere to the company's overage & shortage policy as set out in the standard operating procedures.
To perform any additional tasks / duties that are assigned by the management team.
Your experience and skills include :
High School Diploma
Food Safety Certificate
Previous bartending and barista experience preferred
Excellent knowledge of all beverage products
The point-of-sale system experiences an asset
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
