Pricing Analyst - FMCG job Description : Pricing Analyst -FMCG MAINACCOUNTABILITIES· Analysis of product prices to support decisions for optimum productprice positioning.
Identifying pricing risks andopportunities.· Driving the pricing strategy with analytics and support the rest ofthebusiness.
Anchor the governance over the pricing and rebates landscape forall customers andchannels.· Ensuring consistent pricing strategies across customer segments tomitigate conflict and marginrisk.
Pricing review for new products that we are launching in the marketor selling to new customers, ensuring they are within our strategicframework and pricingguidance· Drive process improvement and simplification in areas of price listand order form management.
RELEVANT SKILLS / EXPERIENCEREQUIRED : · University qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Economics orMathematics.· Experience in financial modelling, analytical projects, Power BIdashboard development experience will be anadvantage.
6+ years of experience with FMCG, Retail or Commodities companies,in commercial / analystroles.· Sound knowledge of pricing techniques, pricing analytics and theability to convert data into commerciallanguage.
Critical and independent thinking. Works well under pressure and isresultsdriven.· Excellent collaborative skills to communicate effectively andinfluencestakeholders.
Strong Team Player. Experience of working inmulti-cultural teams and / or a virtual team environment would be anadvantage.
