This position is to provide technical pre-sales support and expertise for the T-Mobile and Canadian Carrier team. The focus areas include T-Mobile infrastructure, cellular technologies expertise, and techncial training ideal person will have a good mix of very strong technical skills across the whole industry, not just CP coupled with business and relationship building skills.
With the rapidly growing Tech Alliances team, this position will help to develop solutions with third parties that can provide overall revenue leverage for our front line account teams and partners.
Support Carrier Business Development to ensure Cradlepoint product line is lead solution in carrier space
Support the technical development, and implementaiton of Carrier Programs, Products, and Solutions
Define and discuss with sales management a pre-sales strategy and tactics to impletment in the terriotory to meet agreed targets i.
e. revenue growth, account management, market pentration, and new accounts
Design and develop technical sales enablement training curriculum for T-Mobile Technical Sales groups.
Lead, drive and motivate the "cross functional team", ie product management, marketing, operations, delivery, support - to achieve goals
Identify, define and develop new business opportunities in collaboration with sales, marketing and business development people
Build excellent relations with clients. Teach Carrier Channel teams to fish and drive new opportunities and deals
Ensure customer technical issues are resolved without delay
Maintain a thorough understanding of the market place and respond to competitive pressures and initiatives
Ownership of customer trials in sync with Sales teams and Operations.
Ensure proper management and controls are in place and that both external and internal reporting is effective
Work with support services to ensure co-ordination of activity and effective support to customers and field sales force
Liase with technical staff to ensure effective two-way communications and issue resolution
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the networking industry and must have Carrier experience preferably with Sprint or T-Mobile
4 year college degree required
Cloud and / or SDN fluency is required
LAN / WAN network topologies andi nterworking (ie MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
Enterprise, Carrier or Public WiFi solutions (ie Meraki, Ruckus)
Solid understanding of 3GPP (HSPA+, LTE) / 3GPP2(EV DO) Broadband Wireless Data Architectures
Virtual Private Network Solutions and Technology
Network Management Solutions
Network Security (ie UTM, Firewalls, IDS / IPS, SBC, ACL, NAT)
Network and / or Customer Experience Analytics
Ability to work cross-functionally across an organization
Must be able to travel and schedule overnight stays approximately (up to 60% Travel)
Must have strong presentation and communication skills
