DohaPermanent1. Reporting lineThe Technical Sales & Operations Engineer- Qatar reports directly to Region Manager Middle East - Oiltools.
2. RoleThe role is to be a technical expert in Oiltools product portfolio, perform active technical sales and customer activities, manage quote processes and ensure safe and flawless offshore and onshore operations.
It’s a key role to help grow the business in Qatar and the region with high focus on managing current clients and getting new ones.
The role will have to work closely with procurement, technical and operational staff predominantly from Oil & Gas operator companies.
Internally the role has to work closely with Product Groups, Engineering, Supply Chain, Workshop, Field service Management, QHSE, and Finance / Accounting.
The role is responsible for the delivery process from promotion or request to payment of invoice3. Key responsibilitiesThis role will be required to : Promote Health and Safety and Quality Assurance at workResponsible for the sales process from marked development, marketing, providing customer solutions, quotes / tendering, collecting PO’s, ensuring service provision, invoicing and payment.
Actively contact existing and new potential clients to follow up on previous contact and conversation and promote Oiltools products and services.
Present and demonstrate products and services to customers and industry bodies.Prepare proposals and quotes to customers and follow-up to sales completion (POs)Prepare documentation and control / verify sales and product specification to sales and delivery project team for planning for assembly and field installation.
Monitor and follow up on receivables collection after invoice submission.Feedback and participate in customer requirements to the Product Groups.
Assist management to Develop and evolve Oiltools operational capability in the Middle East region.Initiate and manage Well Information Sheet (WIS) to ensure operations are aligned with customer equipment requirements and specifications.
Ensure Quality Control Process (QCP) is followed.Attend daily operations meetings to ensure operations are aligned with customer equipment specifications.
Train & develop sales, workshop, and TTS personnel on new technologies.Manage Service Bulletins ensuring equipment changes / upgrades are implemented.
Work closely with Product Line managers ensure full understand of all technologies are clearly understood.Drive New Technology sales and operational execution.
On-Duty technical support for offshore / Customer operationsFull comprehension and understanding of product costs including sales & rental equipment.
Provide HSE leadership to Oiltools personnel.Prepare a weekly report for management with financial, market and sales opportunity status4.
Experience and qualificationsMinimum 5 years of Upstream Oil & Gas Sales and / or operations experience with a proven track record in sales.
Educated to degree level or equivalent.Hold broad knowledge and experience (both technical and operational) of OiltoolsExcellent communication and presentation skills to be able to explain the benefits of our products or services to potential customersStrong teamwork skillsWorkplace : Doha, Qatar.
Employee will be required to travel in the region to help where needed with sales and operation activities including going to the field and perform the work.
