The main responsibilities of this job holders for guiding the Agriculture and Fisheries Finance team in initiation, preparation, processing and execution of Agriculture and Fisheries financing and other transactions for the bank’s customers, thereby facilitating growth and expansion of the banking business.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Manage the relationship with existing and potential target Business Sector customers and coordinate with the respective departments / units within the Bank to ensure processing of customers’ needs on priority basis.
Assist prospective and existing clients by receiving all customer applications (including leads through walk-ins, phone calls, cross selling through other departments etc.
and effectively addressing client concerns and queries on financing requests as well as fulfillment of all documentation requirements.
Supervise the identification of new sales / cross-sell opportunities; launch targeted sales efforts to bring customers on board.
Proactively advise with an end result of providing solutions to customers’ needs with respect to banking products.
Responsible for collection and ensuring compliance of information shared by customers in documents and conducting necessary due diligence procedures for direct lending related to civil works, Raw Materials, Machinery and Working Capital.
Perform initial high level evaluation based on prospective customer’s business and industry classification and audited financial statements for existing customers.
Performing an in-depth evaluation based on prospective customer’s business and industry classification and audited financial statements for new customers.
Liaise with Technical Appraisal Units, CMD (Credit Management Department) Financial Forecasting, Research analysts and Engineering Project Department to obtain their assessment of the application based on their pre-defined criteria.
Performing scenario analysis based on pricing models taking into account the market conditions and other strategic inputs.
Finalize and sign off credit proposals that include recommendations for interest rates and loan limits.
Conduct annual reviews of customer loans in order to identify if loans require renewals.
Conduct site visits along with Engineering Department for a detailed assessment of projects to confirm actual progress in construction and feasibility of loan restructuring.
Liaise with CMD Financial Forecasting Section, CAD and QCB to obtain all necessary information for creation of annual review proposals for loans.
Provide recommendations on restructuring / rescheduling / amendments / extension of loan facility and seek approvals from Credit Management Department and Internal Credit Committee for the same.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for carrying out Finance Facility amendments or extensions.
Play pivotal role in ensuring healthy collections through regular follow-ups and reminders to customers with past dues.
Ensure adherence to all conditions and requirements for Loan Drawdowns.
Play a pivotal role in Islamization of existing commercial products of Organisation.
Support Business Development, Relationship Manager and ED Business Finance in creation of new products for the team.
Allocate work to subordinates, nominate for training as per organisation guidelines, conduct performance reviews and manage leave and overtime to ensure efficiency.
Participate in the identification of training and development initiatives for all subordinates.
Drive the engagement and satisfaction of all employees within the department through holding periodic meetings to discuss the achievements and address any employee issues and / or concerns.
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelors in Business Administration or related courses.
Qatari National 2-4 years of relevant experience
Expatriates 1-3 years of relevant experience
