The F&B Procurement Officer provides various activities related to non-merchandise procurement, effective F&B procurement function and ensuring that related supplies adhere to the best achievable price and terms while sustaining best practice operation standards within the F&B sector.

  • Search available products to find the best combination of quality, price and delivery.
  • Negotiate policies and contracts with suppliers.
  • Manage deliveries to confirm compliance with contracts.
  • Keep detailed record and prepare and submit required reports.
  • Maintain professional relationship will all suppliers.
  • Enforce the procurement procedures and process.
  • Attend Exhibitions and vendors interviews to stay informed about changes and advancement in the industry.
  • Assess and evaluate new vendors before listing in the approved vendor list.
  • Assist in the events, maintenance work and new projects if required.
  • Help budgeting and forecasting expenses.
  • Conducts on-site visits to suppliers, audit programs, collect compliance data as required by department or company
  • Maintain all records needed for accounting
  • Keep storage area clean and organized as per chef’s standard
  • Able to work weekends and / or holidays when necessary
  • Be able to multi-task and stay focused

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any related field
  • Minimum 6 years purchasing experience in food & beverage industry
  • Prior experience working with suppliers and resources within Qatar market preferred
  • Prior experience coordinating, specifying, and bidding items for multiple properties
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Valid Qatar Driving License
