Keeps purchasing Agents informed if any non-available items.Monitors vendor’s reliability, dependability and establish good relation good relation with vendors.

Provides constant feedback to the Purchasing Manager and Executive Chef on market condition.Follow-ups and ensure market list items delivered on or before 9.

00 am dailyComplies with hotel's health, safety, and hygiene and fire policyObtains price quotation for all inventory items at re-

order points.Notifies Purchasing Managers and Assistant Purchasing Manager of market trendsCompletes Purchase Request with 3 quotes and select, assigns consecutive number and forward to Purchasing Manager for approvalPrepares weekly out-

standing list of purchase requests with reasonsFollow-ups with vendor daily, and obtain best possible delivery date.Processes all purchase requests on daily basis and ensure all items reach departments with 7 days (locally available items)Informs user department if any items are not available of if any delayFiles all PR’s in vendor’s file with quotationPays attention to discrepancies between quoted and delivered prices noted by the Receiving Agent and obtain clarification from suppliersPerforms special duties / projects as required by the management.
