Writes and modifies menus as neededaccording to client diet prescription using establishedresources / guidelines.
Ensures meal orders havebeen transmitted to the correct location for mealpreparation.
Processes patient menu selectionsutilizing a computerized diet office system.
Updates, monitors, and follows-up on all pertinent clientinformation like diet order changes, food allergies, foodpreferences, and requests.
Prints andprocesses client food service reports, including meal census andfood tally report.
Records all assigned datasuch as client meal census and floor stock requests on paper logsor spreadsheet.
Resolves client requests andcomplaints or relays to appropriate staff.
Directs members and staff of Food and Nutrition Servicesoffice.
