The Education Manager - Nursery is a strategic and tactical people leader responsible for consistently exceeding goals in new student enrollment and education standards.
Serves as a leader of the management and education teams; represents the functional best interests of Student Services, Academic Partners and the school.
Interacts with Internal and External Stakeholders, Academic Partners and Department staff to provide advanced curriculum and education standards.
Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Responsible driving the operation while continually optimizing performance, policies, and procedures for the school.
Responsible for building, leading and sponsoring the strategic direction of the school as a whole.
Effectively leads cultural transformational work that builds a high-performance culture focused on delivering strong operational results while balancing the needs of our people
Full departmental operating responsibilities including a budget, planning, production, admissions, hiring, staffing, training, performance management, reward as well as recognition and leadership, while upholding the highest levels of integrity.
Hold and attend Management Team meetings, share performance data and any issues facing the staff. Collaborate with other leaders in resolving cross-
functional issues facing the school.
Develop, approve and ensure consistent implementation of the local standard operating procedure for all departments of the school.
Analyze departmental and program team production processes to find opportunities to enhance performance. Develop new processes and modify existing processes in collaboration with other stakeholders to improve efficiency and overall effectiveness.
Create, suggest, research and implement best curriculum standards that are internationally recognized and certified for the school.
Direct the development and upkeep of training materials to keep up to date with current education trends.
Master or above degree from an accredited institution required.
Nursery experience is mandatory
Ideal candidate will have 10+ years of strong educational leadership experience managing and leading education teams
Prior management of schools
Ability to work within an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, while providing solutions and deliver results; demonstrated ability to build, develop and optimize processes.
Strong organization, analytical and motivational skills.
Collaborative and professional communication style.
