Job Summary : Supervise theinstallation, maintenance, repair and testing of a wide range of mechanicalstationary and rotating equipment for the assigned area or facilities in orderto faclitliate uniterrupted operations. About the Job :
Supervise the activities of assigned Mechanical / Compression Technicians at the assigned area. perform supervisory duties at the level established by a management for position.
Supervise the daily maintenance activities according to plans, work request priorities and resources and material availabilities.
Manage the planned completion time for each job. Ensure efficient and cost effective completion of maintenance and repair jobs for rotating stationary and mechanical machineries and equipment of the assigned area / facilities.
Receive daily maintenance and repair work schedule, allocate work to subordinates, check prioress and ensure that all mechanical checks and tests are carried out prior to hand over to operations.
Support workshop technicians in the execution of their jobs. Interpret technical drawings, isometrics and sketches for work and provide guidance and instructions.
Update SAP with actual man-hours for each work request executed by the workshop. Inspect completed works and ensure QA / QC and conformity with work request.
Review raw materials store's stock levels to ensure that stocks are maintained at adequate levels for current and future work progress.
Adopt "Reverse Engineering Method" in case the spares are not available in the store.
Manage the operations of Tool ensuring that consumables are regularly reordered and refurbished and damaged tools are replaced promptly.
Ensure compliance with maintenance and engineering work methods and procedures. Ensure systematic update of SAP / CMMS systems.
Educational Qualification & Experience :
Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
8 years’ relevant experience in in mechanical maintenance of an Oil and Gas or Petrochemical Production Plant or Refinery, including at least 3 years in positions of progressively increasing supervisory responsibilities
