Our client is an internationally recognised corporation who have over 10000+ employees, and due to their expansion into Qatar, our client is looking to hire a professional, driven and locally based Finance Officer to support the Financial and Commercial Manager.
The incumbent will support all areas of transactional accounting and financial reporting coupled with areas of operational reporting and back office support work.
Oversee and manage the payment process and undertake the management and liaison, with vendors and suppliers, across both billing cycles and collections.
The role will also oversee areas of reconciliations, expense reporting, payroll, budget preparation and accounts finalisation aligned to group guidelines and supporting the Finance & Commercial Manager
The successful candidate should be an ambitious and smart individual who can demonstrate a strong knowledge of accounting principles coupled with strong IT and Excel based skills, whereby financial reports can be developed and implemented.
Applicants shall be required to demonstrate a strong corporate match aligned to a professional environment possessing excellent presentation and strong communication skills for both front and back office.
You should also have a BSc Degree in finance, accounting or economics and a professional qualification as a CFA / CPA is considered a plus and IFRS is essential
