JobDescription :

Bachelor’s degree in QS, construction management, civilengineering or related field preferably with charteredstatus.

Strong consultants QS background.

Required Experience

12+ years prime contract administration (including claims anddisputes), preferably in the gulf / middle east.

5+ yearsin similar capacity with design and supervision consultancy firmssupporting large construction and infrastructure projects.

Working knowledge of industry business practices and thenegotiation of prime design / build and construction contracts.

Post-award contract administration experience.

Working knowledge of FIDIC and familiar with other internationalforms of contract related to Design / build, consultancy andconstruction contracts.

Construction contractadministration, understanding of terms and conditions, legalissues, ability to interpret and understand contracts.

English language proficiency.

Strong written and oralcommunication and interpersonal skills.

Workingknowledge of PC software typically associated with contractadministration.

Organized, effective problem solvingand negotiation skills.

Ability to work as part of aspecialist consultant team, working with minimal supervision

Experience of administering multiple contracts at any onetime.

First class interpersonal, negotiation, reportwriting and communication skills.

Interpretingcontracts and dealing with variations, conflicts, claims, disputes,and other contractual issues.

Ability to multi -taskand able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Meticulous and positive work attitude.
