About Your Job

You will be responsible for rostering of all Engineers and Mechanics within Light maintenance Operations. You will ensure that all manpower activities performed at Doha home Base are in line with the Qatar Airways CAME and TPM at all times, providing both continued airworthiness of the fleet with operational integrity.

You will ensure that all Scheduled and Non Scheduled maintenance conducted on QR Aircraft and its components is carried out to the highest possible Maintenance Standards and Safety in the most productive and cost effective manner using all available resources at Engineering’s disposal.

Key Accountabilities Include

Operational

  • Rostering of engineers and mechanics to ensure additional manpower is available to support the Light Maintenance operation.
  • Managing cover for sick leave, vacation, training and outstations.
  • To resource AOG situations, Aircraft Deliveries, Seat exhibitions and Air shows.
  • Arrangement of tickets, GDs etc. for the flight coverages.
  • To coordinate with the Shift Manager / Supervisors and MOCC / BMPCC Managers to ensue manpower requirements are met to support the operation.
  • Producing statistics and monitoring overtime levels in a cost effective manner.
  • To ensure equal distribution of overtime between engineers and mechanics taking into consideration the welfare of the employees, quality and safety.
  • Coordinating with Shift Manager / Shift Leaders for all Base / Line maintenance operations training requirements.
  • Coordinating with Quality training departments for the training schedules, allocation of staff within each section.
  • Liaising with the Shift manager and BMPCC / MOCC Operations Controller to ensure both operational and maintenance requirements can be met in the most effective manner.
  • To conduct orientation for the new joiners, allocation of shift etc.
  • Coordinating with administration section for the staff data, MIS updates etc.
  • About You

    We are looking for a bachelor degree graduate or equivalent, who has a minimum of 4 years of job-related experience. You should have Recognized Engineering Training and certified in Computer Application -

    MS office applications. We prefer candidates who have aviation background.

    You should have good analytical, planning and organizing skills. You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    You should be highly computer literate in MS Office.
