Design, implement, maintain, andimprove electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components,products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domesticpurposes.
Operate computer-assistedengineering and design software and equipment to performengineering tasks.
Direct and coordinatemanufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support,documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance withspecifications, codes, and customer requirements.
Perform detailed calculations to compute and establishmanufacturing, construction, and installation standards andspecifications.
Inspect completedinstallations and observe operations, to ensure conformance todesign and equipment specifications and compliance with operationaland safety standards.
Plan and implementresearch methodology and procedures to apply principles ofelectrical theory to engineering projects.
Prepare specifications for purchase of materials andequipment.
Supervise and train project teammembers as necessary.
Oversee projectproduction efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily,on time and within budget.
Prepare and studytechnical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, andtopographical maps to ensure that installation and operationsconform to standards and customer requirements.
Develop budgets, estimating labor, material, andconstruction costs.
Conduct field surveys andstudy maps, graphs, diagrams, and other data to identify andcorrect power system problems. ![]()
