Monitor the daily sold hours and report theworkshop groups output compared to target. Ensure that the workshopassists & integrates effectively with other departments(Service advisers, PDI, Sales, and Parts).
Maintain positive moralein the workshop. Ensure workshop cleanliness and brand standardsare maintained. Responsible for correct tooling, calibration& upkeep of equipment.
Support the group leaders ensuringthey have everything required to do their jobs. Coordinate withgroup leaders on preparing a training plan.
Supports and guidestechnicians about technical modifications, innovation,measurements, test equipment and tools of BMW automobiles.
Ensurecustomers vehicles are repaired in an efficient timely fashion.Monitor quality control compliance. Monitor technicians’use of vehicle protective kit.
Supports the service advisor withcustomer consultation to discuss identified failures or requiredrepair work. Uses checklists / repair instructions, tools and testequipment adhered to current BMW guidelines.
Ensure that all timespent on jobs and materials used are accurately recorded on jobcards. Work carefully to avoid accidental damage to vehicles andcomponents during work activities.
Seek to minimise wastage of allmaterials, oils and fluids by careful use and encouraging thecareful use by others. Care for all plant and tools belonging tothe business and not to misuse same.
