Position Summary Responsible for the design and maintainenace of systems and processes for job creation job evaluation organizational structure design and organizational change rules This role maintains the system for job grading and the evaluation of job positions and is responsible for proposing associated compensation as well as maintaining the job matrix of the organization Job Responsibilities Maintains the job matrix of all jobs in the organization evaluates new positions and places them into the matrix Facilitates develops and maintains the methodology and guidelines for job creation job update and job evaluation Audits organizational structures to identify overlapping jobs and unique roles and assesses the need for changes to job descriptions Undertakes job analysis by studying responsibilities and interviewing stakeholders for new and existing roles within the organization Works on requests from the stakeholders validating the rationale for recommendations to ensure appropriate upgrade of roles Creates reviews and evaluates job descriptions to establish the correct optimum salary and role positioning to ensure equity and competitive position within the market Maps out competency levels and assignments to job descriptions in line with competencies frameworks Responsible for analyzing jobs and assigning exempt status in compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act FSLA Coordinates the vacancy creation and approval process and position maintenance in SAP Participates in compensation surveys to analyze salary benefits to ensure competitive compensation ranges for each position Assists with the annual performance appraisal and merit increase process advising computing merit increase recommendations in line with the guidelines Conducts regular audits on the employee data or manpower data to capture outliers with respect to the span of control titling and grading issues compensation and suggests measures to address them Prepares a variety of analytical reports to support decisionmaking and participates in various HR projects as required Performs other duties as assigned
