GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION Plans organizes directs coordinates controls and supervises the overall activities of production and sales in an integrated and efficient manner Optimizes production processes by reducing waste and production time and improving labor efficiency Oversee the recruiting orienting and training of factory workers Administer policies and programs to achieve the utility s objectives and coordinate utility activities between departments to maintain operating efficiency Responsible for assigning and designating job duties to staff according to their performance and history Allocates budget sources and sets a strategic plan to achieve a company s growth through a steady stream of profit and loss management Supervise the Factory s operations by leading a technical resources team and effectively cooperating with various peer groups within the company A factory manager is responsible for maintaining accurate quality and quantity control to ensure the ontime delivery of produced mineral water in order to satisfy the clients DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES Plan a systematic approach to develop new strategies and techniques in all functions of the factory to ensure the quality and efficiency of operations Supervises the quality of raw materials and packaging materials in all shifts to ensure they are defectfree upon reception during storage and handling and ensures production capacity utilization will not be affected by use of poor or damaged raw materials and or packaging materials Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel accomplishing set assignments establishing priorities monitoring progress revising schedules resolving problems reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries Prepares shift schedule to include work station assignments rotations employee vacations employee breaks overtime assignment backup for absent employees and shift rotations Prepares reports on the accomplishments challenges and problems encountered with particularly on profit and loss management and recommended solutions Ensure that finished products are consistently manufactured meeting prescribed standards compliant on time and meeting consumer expectations Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with the local laws striving for Zero accidents through continuous coaching on safety behaviors Elaborate and execute workforce development program that will provide appropriate flexibility of workforce and assets Focus on material availability finished goods quality and on time delivery through optimal resource allocation Lead a continuous improvement employee involvement culture Drive for excellence and support operators and staff in their tasks Provide timely feedback and coaching to individuals and teams in order to develop them to their full potential and to achieve objectives in accordance with Company guidelines Ensure succession plans and development coaching of direct reports where applicable including the development of specific training Ensure ongoing smooth operation of the factory through employee and industrial relations
