Job Purpose :
The Electronics Technician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, assist his team, help and support the improvement efforts in the department to increase the performance.
Furthermore, the Electronics Technician will report any fault on the equipment to the Engineer, TO, STO.
Job Responsibilities :
Do the PPM assigned correctly and on time.
Perform corrective tasks and complete on time.
Take care of the quality of their work.
Report defects, issues, breakdowns, damages, etc., to the Fault Reporting Center or Engineer, TO, STO.
Follow the duty roster.
Report any spare part requirements and availability.
Follow all instructions as given by the TO, STO, Engineers.
Take care of the tools, test tools and equipment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Comply with the Company standards specifically related to personal hygiene, dress code and behavior.
Comply with FMM HSEQ policies and procedures.
Follow the client’s policies and regulations; follow FMM HSEQ’s Quality Management System which includes attending all mandatory training sessions and reviewing documents provided therein.
Escalate to their line manager any lack of proper equipment or tools for doing the work.
Report any accident, incident, near miss or health event at work to their line manager.
Diploma / technical course / trade certification in Electronics or related course.
Experience & Skills :
5-year experience in compatible function and facility.
Expert knowledge to check the functionality of LED screen in a systematic manner.
Expert knowledge in LED screen identification of fault, repair and reassembling of the LED screen to make it functional.
Measurement and eventual adjustment of voltage on the power supply unit.
Expert knowledge on how to fix and remove the media screen power cord and ensuring data cable are connected in screen without any defects.
Expert knowledge in electronics equipment, components & troubleshooting such as media converter, power supply, etc.
Troubleshoot and identify the root causes of electronic failure and to make repairs or adjustments.
Expert knowledge of Access Control System.
Expert knowledge of Telecommunication system.
Knowledge in troubleshooting & ability to read technical drawings.
Required IPAF training certificate for using the high access machine (MEWP).
Regulations (e.g., OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, BS).
Problem solving skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Capable of establishing work priorities.
Can work with less supervision.
