Responsible for providing technical,commercial and functional direction related to all aspects ofcontracting including the formulation and administration of ITTpackages and EPC Contract from Pre-Award until Close Out· Maintains contact with other Management personnel andFunctional Managers.

Legal and Risk Management to obtain andprovide information regarding contract issues and mitigationstrategies Key Job Accountabilities 1.

Job Purpose : ·Lead preparation of ITT packages and coordination of tender processwith QG Supply, PMT and legal. · Assist in preparationof contracting strategy.

  • Preparation, development andmanagement of EPC Contract / Contract documents includingcoordination of full Contract scope definition ·Evaluating EPC contractors bid and making appropriaterecommendations to Owner with respect to acceptability of Contractterms and conditions.
  • Administering the EPC contractdocumenting and recording all changes, progress measurements andpayments, management of claims, monitoring of bonds / guarantees,preparation of Contract modifications and closing out the contract.
  • Review contractual terms and conditions to insurecompliance by the EPC Contractor and ensure Company requirementsare continually being met.
  • Assist with the review andnegotiation of project change order requests submitted by EPCContractor. · Take the lead in preparing contractualresponses to the EPC Contractor.
  • Interface with EPCContractor in resolving Contractual and Procurement related issues.· Review of RFQ’s and bid summaries forcompliance with project requirements and protection ofOwner’s interests.
  • Reviewing proposals foralternative vendors proposed by EPC contractor and evaluatingacceptability both technically and commercially.
  • Establishing and monitoring regular performance reporting andcontributing to the monthly PMT progress reports. ·Providing leadership and guidance to Contractor’sprocurement representatives.

  • Key Result Areas : · Direct reports to theNFE Onshore Head of Contracts · Demonstrates ability toplan and schedule work (short term and long term) and ensuresexecution of work plan by sub-ordinates · Reviewcontractual terms and conditions to insure compliance by the EPCContractor and ensure Company requirements are continually beingmet.

  • Monitor Contractor’s purchasing,expediting, logistics and field materials management to insureschedule objectives are met.
  • Review and approvecontractor’s procurement / contracting procedures anddocuments · Lead the review and negotiation of projectchange requests submitted by EPC Contractor.
  • Take thelead in preparing contractual responses to the EPC Contractor.· Interface with EPC Contractor in resolving Contractualand Procurement related issues.
  • 4.   • 5. Communications and Working Relationships : · Interfaces with various project teams and departmentson resolving related issues that requires effective communication,initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration.

  • Interacts effectively with QG management and externalstakeholders, including statutory auditors, shareholder auditorsand other entities to discuss project practices and issues.
  • Manages a number of people and is responsible for thedevelopment and mentoring of the staff. · Effective teamplayer who collaborates well with others · Demonstratesthe highest level of integrity in dealing with all parties,exhibits team leadership skills, integrity, self-confidence andfairness · Communicates concisely in written and verbalcontext;
