The Exams Coordinator is responsible forcoordinating testing accommodations provided to students with avariety of disabilities.
The goal of alternative testing is toprovide equitable access to the process of taking exams. Thisperson must be able to work a flexible schedule and this willinclude mainly daytime shifts but occasionally evening orweekend.
Evaluates and interprets disabilitydocumentation to establish service eligibility.
Meet with students to conduct intake interviews anddevelop accommodations in compliance with the University
Formulates accommodation plans that delineateaccommodations, which are in conformance with the ISNSCguidelines.
Presents general informationabout ISNSC services to prospective and / or currently enrolledstudents.
Communicate with students todetermine specific needs and make arrangements for test and examaccommodation
Schedules alternative examtimes and book rooms that will accommodate the individual needs ofstudents
Provides scribing, reading, and / orexam proctoring services for students with documented disabilitiesat QU as needed for students in class and duringtests.
