    I Scope & impact ofthe position on the organization :

    TheServices Technician services equipment for Trane Customers in the country. He / Shewill be responsible for commissioning, repair, maintenance and upgrade of HVACIntegrated Systems, utilizing knowledge of Air Conditioning theory.

    II General - Responsibilitiesinclude :

    A - Safety

    Performsall designated activities in a safe manner and is accountable for his / her PPE.Complies with TRANE’s safety standards and rules as laid out in the InstructionManual and office regulation

    Inspectsvehicle condition and literatures supplies. Maintain vehicle by keeping recordof services manuals, scheduling and completing repairs / maintenance

    Maintains PPE, toolsand personal equipment by inspecting for signs of wear.

    B - Duties

    Responsiblefor servicing product and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customersatisfaction

    Performscommissioning, repairs, maintenance, upgrade and work related to HVAC services

    Preparesfor on-site works by anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, tools, andinstructions as necessary

    Identifies,analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer's location :

    Uses avariety of hand tools, wiring diagrams, piping schemes, IOMs or engineeringspecifications as required

    Documentswork by timely completing paperwork on each job and maintaining required files(paper or electronic DFSD)

    Determinesparts to order for repairs and timeliness of need

    Keepscurrent on all Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance,service, and repair

    Representscompany by serving as a direct customer contact ; Is able to listen, inform andrecommend

    Supportsother technicians by providing technical advice and offering guidance

    Participatesin Technicians / Services acquisition programs and provide Sales Lead

    Flexibilityto work overtime / weekends, as required

    III Profile :

    Diploma & Experience : Technicalgraduate with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air conditioning, oneor two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education andexperience (be specific per country)

    IV Skills :

    Knowledge of HVACPrinciples / Equipment : Must befamiliar with Trane and various other air conditioning products and have fieldexperience in installation techniques and servicing / repairing HVAC equipment

    Customer Service Skills : Must have excellent customer interaction skills andhave the ability to answer questions and resolve customer concerns.

    Computer / Software Skills : Must have the ability to use a computer and software(e.g., MS / Office, Excel, and MS Windows)

    HVAC Technical Skills : Must havedemonstrated mechanical and electrical ability

    Strong Analytical Skills : Must have theability to dissect and manipulate data and situations to arrive at the bestpossible solution

    Listening Skills : Must have theability to hear (attend to) and interpret communication.

    Oral Communication Skills : Must be able to speak clearly, use correct grammar, and projectenthusiasm through voice inflection and intonation

    Written CommunicationSkills : Must be able to write clear, concise reports

    Problem-Solving Skills : Must have theability to resolve situations or matters as they arise

    Interpersonal Skills : Must demonstrate the ability to interact andcommunicate clearly with a variety of people and personality styles

    Language-Skills : Musthave the ability to speak effectively to customers and employees ; Englishknowledge is an additional asset

    Others : Holda valid driver’s license

    VI Travel requirements :

    The HVAC Field Technician must be prepared to work undertime pressure, with evening and occasional weekend work necessary.

    This position requires work in both field(90%) and office (10%) environments.
