About The Job
In this role you will take the lead to develop business change and provide analytical evidence for strategic plans to support the continuing growth of the cargo operations and ensure the best available analysis and metrics are available to decision makers.
You will be accountable for providing analysis of operational indicators and operational business performance to the operations management team so the department has actionable and robust metrics in place to drive business improvement and is at the forefront of good practice.
This role will effectively oversee the quality control of potential discrepancies and present regular metrics dashboards to management and other stakeholders.
It involves ongoing monitoring of the procedures and standards, taking feed-back from internal & external teams in order to identify gaps in processes and methodologies.
You will maintain close contact with key stakeholders to get operational data and drive to create efficiencies through easy access, sharing and handover of data, reports and processes.
You will initiate and ensure consistent and timely storing and sharing of data and information within PRM and relevant information onto regions and individual stations.
Equally you will provide continuous support in identifying areas of innovation, review processes and operational problems, offering solutions and process re-design where required.
You must hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and should have minimum of 5 years of job-related experience. Exposure to Business Intelligence tools and Six Sigma qualification would be desirable.
You must have demonstrated leadership experience and should be able to develop and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders and have a strong grasp of operational impacts.
A willingness to learn analytical methods and technologies is a must and your leadership skills should include delegation, directives and workflow, mentoring, coaching and building a strong teamwork mentality.
You should be solution focused, have excellent communication skills along with strategic development, planning and analytical skills.
You should have proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills with high level of Presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and to deliver tasks within tight deadlines are essential requirements of the job.
