Role Objective

The Brand Analyst will perform marketing / brand analyses for DB including but not limited to product / service analysis, competitive analysis etc.

in close coordination with the respective internal / external stakeholders to optimize overall customer experience. The incumbent will be responsible for analyzing the performance of assigned categories of products / services and, for identifying opportunities and driving plans for improvement of overall customer experience for increased market share / growth and conversions.

The incumbent will be responsible for understanding customer behavior, and in gathering / analyzing DB brand related data for formulation of strategic plans / initiatives.

Detailed Roles and Responsibilities


  • Analyze various aspects of DB as a brand, including but not limited to brand personality, positioning, performance vs.
  • targets, dependability and partnerships.

  • Perform advanced multifarious analysis work using advanced statistical software’s.
  • Interpret and apply analytics to develop strategic recommendations on brand development, brand positioning / evaluation, and consumer segmentation.
  • Contribute towards the formulation and execution of performance improvement plans by formulating insights / recommendations for assigned brand categories / branding initiatives.
  • Analyze customer behavior and recommend modifications to the branding strategies in line with the customer expectations.
  • Be the subject matter expert for assigned categories of products / services.
  • Contribute towards execution of major organization-wide brand analytics strategies to meet key performance indicators.
  • Consult with the Social Media Specialists on analysis of all assigned elements of the digital platforms based on SEO metrics and customer experience best practices.
  • Update the Marketing & Business Development and Product teams on industry standards, customer and competitive insights, and suggest improvements to enhance sales, traffic and conversion.
  • Work with cross-functional teams across product management, business development & marketing and external Data Measurement agencies to capitalize on brand analytics capabilities.
  • Work closely with the Chief Branding Officer in sharing analytic brand insights in the formulation of bank-wide brand and advertising strategy.
  • Define relative brand strengths and weaknesses to support formulation of strategies to improve the brand equity among key customers.
  • Perform research on DB brand portfolio, customers and competitors to comprehend the internal and external environment of the brand
  • Provide research and analytic support for the internal stakeholders, including but not limited to overall brand performance, market research & sizing, field audits, benchmarking and best practices.
  • Contribute towards and support in the new business development efforts of DB through marketing / brand analyses based on environmental constraints, periodic forecasts and turnover estimates.
  • Perform dashboard reporting, customer insights and areas of opportunities and threats for management review / action.
  • Provide analytics support in defining CRM for the brand and train relevant internal teams on its usage, as and when required.
  • Report on ROI, against the specific branding objectives set.
  • Responsible for developing a cohesive and integrated branding architecture across the bank.
  • Responsible for the brand guidelines management across the bank with key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for monitoring the brand share of voice with digital agency.
  • Responsible for managing the NPS and RSI KPI’s across the bank.
  • Promptly respond to the escalated queries raised by the respective stakeholders.
  • Adhere to / follow audit, compliance and procedural control measures set by the management.
  • Maintain highest standards of confidentiality, professional conduct, ethics and integrity in the provision of services in the section.
  • Educational Qualifications

  • University graduate with a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or Journalism any other related discipline.
  • Master’s degree in Management any other related discipline will be an added advantage.
  • Experience

  • 05-07 years of experience in marketing / branding or product management or related field.
  • Experience in marketing analytics, return on investment / financial modeling and statistical analysis.
  • Strong experience in market research experience
