Role responsibilities include (but not limited to) : Provide short term / brief counselling to all entitled QR staff to enable employees overcome difficulties, make decisions and promote personal development.
Performs brief clinical assessment to establish baseline mental health functioning.Manage clinical case load through individual psychotherapy for employees or group therapy depending on the case / situation.
Refer staff to clinical psychologists for complex cases or cases requiring treatment or clinical intervention.Provides mental health first aid and critical incident stress debriefing as required.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation and provide regular statistical reports to the Senior Psychologist Head of Psychology Services and / or Lead Clinical Psychologist on psychological services provided.
Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.About youQualifications : Essential : Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level .
Degree in clinical or counselling psychology.Knowledge of various psychological tests / assessments.Knowledge of Microsoft office and ORACLE.
Eligible for MOPH licensing under the State of Qatar.Previous Experience : Essential : Minimum 5 years relevant experience .
Experience working in outpatient mental health or clinical psychology settings.Counselling for life situations, emotional, and behavioural issues.
