Cradlepoint is actively seeking an experienced sales leader to join our team with a focus on selling to cable companies (MSOs) and Managed Solutions Providers.

This role will be focused on hunting for new opportunities within Tier 1 and Tier 2 cable operators focused on SMB failover and more.

Additional focus will be given on growing large MSPs with their 4G / 5G Cradlepoint sales practice. The candidate will need to coordinate with sales leadership, executive management and operations to complete our world-class organization.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience selling to MSOs and be located near mid-Atlantic states (Maryland / New Jersey / New York / Pennsylvania), or CT, or GA, with consideration given for most eastern US locations with direct flight access.

Cradlepoint is the #1 provider of 4G and 5G solutions to the MSO / MSP ecosystems. This is a key position in Cradlepoint to dramtically affect the growth of Cradlepoint and wireless WAN networking across the industry.


  • Hunt for new MSOs to sell Cradlepoint as part of their offering
  • Manage several large MSPs who already have a Cradlepoint practice- Increase mind share and sales
  • Report on sales activities, programs, and revenue progress by each account
  • Determine most effective way to leverage extended team to create the largest ROI
  • Visit and train new or non-managed MSPs and be the sales contact for those MSPs until we can drive enough business to hire additional sales people
  • Build goals and plans for sales team and measure those goals for the team and executive management
  • Meet with MSP leadership, and MSP sales team to drive mindshare and programs around Cradlepoint offerings
  • Ensure that the sales strategy results in a differentiated and competitive solution for the intended target markets
  • Embrace a solution-driven approach to ensure we deliver the easiest and most friction-free sales model
  • Be or become a Sales Expert in LTE, SD-WAN, Network security, and networking technologies
  • Collect and synthesize input from all MSPs / MSOs and deliver a simplified message to executive management ways we can improve product, sales processes, support and operations
  • Prioritize between long and short term challenges, problems and opportunities based on ROI and business rationale to drive sales priorities
  • Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant sales experience with 5+ years experience selling into MSO and MSPs
  • Knowledge of 4G LTE, and SD-WAN is a plus.
  • Strong ability to understand both technical details and practical business application of how enterprises want to use different networking and connectivity solutions
  • Must demonstrate strategic thinking and thought leadership, as well as ability to lead initiatives through implementation
  • Exceptional analytical reasoning skills
  • Critical thinking skills to make intelligent and defendable decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills including ability to persuasively deliver presentations to senior executives, partners and customers
  • Fast executor, self-starter
  • Travel : Typically : 35%-50% with periods of higher or lower travel amounts- Also depends on city of hire (Mid-Atlantic less travel)
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Mid Atlantic, CT, GA residence preferred
