Job Description

Rixos Qetaifan Island North Opening mid-2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a Souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark.

The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination.

One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s waterpark attraction The Icon Tower, is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 meters in height.

  • Steward Water Park To ensure a smooth and efficient operation in the Food & Beverage Department in relation to the Company Core Process;
  • thus, directly impacting the delivery of the experience. This position undertakes necessary tasks in the assigned Place of Work and provides a courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service consistent with Standards, Policies & Procedures to maximize guest satisfaction;
  • ensures a clean and safe environment in the kitchen by cleaning dishes, cooking utensils, equipment, etc. Attends training as per department requirements.

    Coordinate work together with the culinary and service team to support and proved the requirement, such as movement of equipment, maintaining the cleanliness, and hygiene of the work area, operating a dishwashing machine, washing pots, pans, and other Food and Beverage types of equipment.

    Work with Culinary and Food and Beverage Service to support the departments through plate ups, movement of equipment, cleanliness, and hygiene of work area, dishwashing, pot washing other Food and Beverage equipment, Work in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, abiding by all health and safety regulations.

    Conducts deep cleaning according to protocols.Cleans and stores pots, pans, and other equipment used by the ChefsClean and wash stoves, ovens, grills, and refrigerators, and using cleaning solutions, brushes, and washclothsSanitize dishes and maintain the cleanliness of grills, grill hoods, ovens, tilt kettles, and other kitchen appliances.

    Sweep and mop kitchen floors.Separates customer dishes and utensils according to standard operating procedures.Accounts for and brings back to the dish room any utensils, dishes, decorations, and equipment, used during events.

    Responsible for storing chemicals and cleaning productsCarry out the duties as specified on the daily / weekly / monthly task lists of the kitchen area.

    To segregate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containersTo complete multiple tasks at once while maintaining communication with co-workers and managers.

    To scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on a conveyor to the dishwashing machine.

    To wash and sanitize pots, pans, trays, worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.To clean all defined areas of the outlet seating areas, kitchen counters, walls, floors, storage rooms, and other areas of the kitchen daily or as necessary to be in accordance with the set food safety and hygiene standards.

    Communicates with other kitchen assistants to ensure that all work is accomplished by a team.To ensure basic cleaning of work areas and carry out temperature control checksTo work exclusive use events, including the preparations of facilities for functions, themed evenings, etc.

    To adhere to all emergency procedures, ensure Guest safety, and participate in an evacuation if necessary.
