Boeing Qatar incorporation is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager to join the lead some programs and businesses in the country.

Position Overview

As a Maintenance Services Senior Manager you will be responsible for C-17, F-15, Apache Operations including additional potential platform business.

Responsible for all Boeing Maintenance Services in Qatar and customer point of contact for all operations as well as leading all services relating to these platforms including personnel not directly reporting to this position.

Position Responsibilities

  • Leads planning and integration activities for support program(s) or major support business / program elements where business needs dictate.
  • Applies technical knowledge of product support / logistics disciplines and Program Management Best Practices to direct program activities.
  • Manages employees and mid-level managers performing activities related to Program Management and Services.
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.
  • Develops and implements large-scale, high impact integrated organizational plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved on multiple platforms to support maintenance mission requirements.
  • Reviews, approves, and implements execution, process, budgeting, equipment and service plans to maximize productivity and ensure safety, security, environmental and regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluates feasibility of plans and makes decisions to continue or discontinue programs, projects or processes as appropriate.
  • Generates requirements and analyzes technical approach, statement of work, labor and deliverables for programs or projects to ensure a quality product is received.
  • Approves the technical approach used on program or multiple projects.
  • Coordinates with suppliers and providers to achieve timely delivery of resources.
  • Participates in make / buy decisions and recommends source selection for programs and projects.
  • Creates and executes supplier technical oversight plans for internal / external sources.
  • Recommends disposition of supplier deliverables.
  • Interfaces with suppliers and subcontractors for verification and validation of requirements.
  • Integrates supplier activities across the organization.
  • Forecasts, acquires, deploys and manages personnel, services, equipment and tools to meet program and organizational requirements.
  • Determines critical skills within the organization; develops and implements staffing and development plans to ensure necessary skills are available.
  • Assigns authority and responsibilities to leadership team to execute the plan.
  • Coaches, counsels, mentors and provides developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance performance and expand capabilities of mid-
  • level managers and others within their organization.

  • Champions’ organizational innovation and initiatives geared toward recognizing employee achievements, increasing employee satisfaction and retaining a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Rewards leadership team for their efforts to recognize and motivate others.
  • Enforces company rules and policies regarding ethical behavior, safety, quality, security, use of company property, time charging, etc.
  • Required Skills

  • 10+ years’ experience leading Maintenance or Aviation Maintenance teams or performed similar duties and responsibilities on large scale manufacturing or sustainment program
  • Bachelor Degree in Technical Field
  • Ability to accept International Local Hire Package In Qatar
  • 5+ years of international customer experience in aviation maintenance.
  • Position requires at a minimum the ability to acquire a pre-start interim and post-start final secret security clearance
  • Desired Skills

  • Extensive experience with Qatar Air Force customer
  • Ability to Speak Arabic
