Develop company-wide framework and design systems in relation to Systems Engineering and in accordance with local and national rules and regulations
Define best practices for Systems Engineering
Provide technical expertise and know-how to the Systems engineers across geographies
Develop guidelines that captures design decisions that minimize cost and time overruns, at the same time delivering high quality projects
Prepare standardized Systems Engineering methodologies, tools and best practices to ensure consistency in high quality deliverable
Provide technical support and input on strategies related to Systems, sustainability, green building and energy efficiency.
Design Systems and associated infrastructure at various stages, in line with the approved design criteria and standards
Conduct Value Engineering studies in order to identify and recommend areas for cost reduction from optimal re-design of projects and optimal quantity of required construction materials
Oversee the design submittals / loading assumptions, soft and hard copies of calculations and drawings to provide comments and assurance on design standards, codes of safety and stability, strength and stiffness specifications when needed.
Support the Systems engineering of specific projects when needed
Support in conducting technical analysis of tender bids
Monitor and control the progress of the project and standard of the work delivered by the contractor and the consultant to ensure that the project specifications and approved parameters are met

Review, comment and validate any changes from approved tender documents proposed by consultants / contractors.
Coordinate internally with project head and procurement department and assist them to obtain necessary approvals as per company procedure
Liaison with the consultants to make sure that the drawings and design are as per the local regulations and international standards and codes of safety and stability
Identify any changes to master plan that may have design implications, communicate to stakeholders (Construction, Project Management, Procurement and Development Management) and propose mitigation strategies
