We are in need of an Intelligent "Senior Accountant" to join on board with following credentials.Salary Range is 6000 QAR (full package), Please apply only if you are ready / willing to work in this Salary Range.

We pay Salary on time hence our range is compact)Qatar Experience is a Must (5 - 6 Years), first preference would be given to candidates who have experience in Construction or Group Holding Firm.

Candidates should be based in Qatar for an Immediate Hire. (NOC in Hand)Desired Candidate should transfer his Visa to our Employment Visa.

Spouse Dependant Visa holders wouldn't be considered.Qatar Driving License holders would be given priority.Job Purpose / Basic Function : The main purpose of this position is to manage and be responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-

end close procedures. A successful Senior accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.

The ideal candidate has also experience collaborating and / or managing a team of accountants and junior accountants.Duties and responsibilities : Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.

  • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.Summarizes financial status by collecting information;
  • preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.Produces payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, verifying finished product completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts;
  • providing information for auditors.Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivableProduce error-

    free accounting reports and present their resultsAnalyze financial information and summarize financial statusSpot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spendingProvide technical support and advice on Management accountantReview and recommend modifications to accounting systems and proceduresAssist with tax audits and tax returnsDirect internal and external audits to ensure complianceSupport month-

    end and year-end close processSupport month-end and year-end close processLiaise with our Financial managerand Accounting manager to improve financial proceduresSecures financial information by completing database backups.

    Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential.Any other tasks assigned by the financial manager.Qualifications : Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized university.

    Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in GCC (Qatar Experience will be given first preference)Preference Would be given to Candidates who have Qatar Driving License.

    Knowledge / Skills / Abilities : Thorough knowledge of basic accounting proceduresProven experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor, chief or senior accountantIn-

    depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Experience with general ledger functions and the month-

    end / year-end close process, accuracy and attention to detail.Familiarity with financial accounting statements, Hands-on experience with accounting software packages.

    Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills.Have the Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

    Good appearance and tact in dealing with othersStrong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelinesExcellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Tally and ERP)The skill of organizing and planning daily business and able to multitask with ease.

    Have good written skills, including being able to compose memos, e-mail, letters and prepare required documentation and record keeping.
