About Your Job : The purpose of this role is to provide on-shift operational management of the bonded store operation and staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring that all flights depart with the correct bars and stores, on time and to specification.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following : Responsible for all operational activities within the bonded stores, efficient allocation and utilisation of staff to ensure that all bars and stores are packed on time and to specification.
Responsible for ensuring a clean, organised and safe work environment within the Bond storesLead the Operational Effectiveness team within the bond aimed at cost savings, standardisation, simplification and waste reductionResponsible for operational communication with QACC management ensuring a smooth flow of work between all partiesOversee the bar and dry store packing areas, ensuring that everyone has the relevant and most up-to-date information and that performance is on trackResponsible for tracking the performance of the bond through effective monitoring and analysis of the bonded stores Voyage Reports and implementation of corrective action plans to address shortfalls where appropriateDevelop and suggest improvement plans to deliver enhanced service and efficiencyResponsible for vehicle communication, allocation and maintenance as requiredLiaise with the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) and QACC on any delays and aircraft changes to ensure that the bars are packed accordinglyResponsible for ensuring that the Bonded Stores adhere to legislation at all times including : Customs, Fire, Health & Safety, Food Safety, Security, First Aid, Ramp Safety and airport proceduresPerform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the DepartmentAbout You : The successful candidate will have : Relevant College or University qualification to minimum Bachelor level in logistics or warehouse managementMinimum 5 years' relevant experienceWarehouse Management or Logistics Management experiencePrevious experience managing a teamTime management and an understanding of the need for on-time deliveryWell-developed interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and on multiple projects simultaneouslyManagerial skills : ability to delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflow, strong mentoring skills, ability to train and develop subordinate's skillsAbility to foster teamwork among team membersNote : you will be required to attach the following : 1.
