Stantec is looking to hire an Asset Management Implementer to provide expert guidance to our client, The Public Works Authority of Qatar (Ashghal).
The successful candidate will support with creating alignment across client directorate through the implementation of the corporate Asset Management Policy and supporting the implementation of the Asset Strategy and continue the embedment of Asset Management across the Directorate by delivering improvements against ISO 55001 : 2014
Key responsibilities include :
Adhere to Health and Safety Policy and Procedures in the workplace and comply with any new work instructions
Analyse corporate policy and strategic requirements and forecast user needs and demands in relation to the development of zonal (catchment-based) Asset Management Plans.
Support Asset Management activities across catchment zones and support Contractors in applying Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
Develop client capability towards an intelligent client function with the ability to independently review and challenge contractor submissions including a Review of Existing Maintenance (REM).
Undertake with the client the ISO55001 : 2014 Progression Assessments, Report and Register of Audit action for an agreed Audit plan
Deliver Asset Management improvements as identified by the progression audits
Review the current risk quantification tool used for the investment process and develop a look up table for financial quantification of risk

Qualifications
Bachelor degree in science / engineering or relevant subject from an internationally recognized university
Should be working towards acceptance as a Chartered Member of a relevant professional body (e.g. Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management, ICE or equivalent)
Must hold a Diploma in Asset Management or equivalent
Current / valid Qatar Driving License would be an advantage
Knowledge & Experience
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Asset Management
Minimum 5 years’ experience in implementing and auditing Asset Management systems and processes to ISO55001
Knowledge of asset lifecycle planning in a catchment based operational utility organisation
Familiar with planning processes and methodologies in both production and operational environment and the use of ERP tools, asset risk and financial analysis
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Arabic would be an advantage
Ability to influence and engage stakeholders and staff at all levels within the organisation
Computer literate using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint as a minimum
Display proactivity, resilience and drive to achieve the delivery of required outputs
