Primary purpose of job

Origination, marketing and sales (or purchase) of petroleum products representing the front face for QatarEnergy (QPSPP) to global clients.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in petroleum commodity marketing, trading and / or sales management, customer relationship management and managing / directing commercial operations.
  • Preferably with a mid to large size organization in the energy industry.

  • Marketing and trading of petroleum commodities, sales and client-relationship management must be demonstrated in previous jobs and / or assignments.
  • Experience in origination of new clients and / or markets.
  • Experience in commercial risk and risk management.
  • Experience in financial controls and business controls.
  • Experience in commercial agreement negotiations and implementation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of international the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Knowledge of product value chain and areas in commercial agreements where further value can be extracted and where value must be protected.
  • Excellent negotiation skills. Strong ability to conclude deals with clients and finalize sales agreements.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
  • High standard of personal integrity.
  • Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business / Commerce (Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, etc) or in the field of Engineering (with relevant experience in marketing and sales).
