Department

PETROCHEMICALS MARKETING - Chemicals Section

Primary purpose of job

Origination, marketing and sales (or purchase) of petroleum products representing the front face for QatarEnergy (QPSPP) to global clients.

Experience & Skills

Minimum 10 years’ experience in petroleum commodity marketing, trading and / or sales management, customer relationship management and managing / directing commercial operations.

Preferably with a mid to large size organization in the energy industry.

Marketing and trading of petroleum commodities, sales and client-relationship management must be demonstrated in previous jobs and / or assignments.

Experience in origination of new clients and / or markets.

Experience in commercial risk and risk management.

Experience in financial controls and business controls.

Experience in commercial agreement negotiations and implementation.

Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of international the Oil and Gas industry.

Knowledge of product value chain and areas in commercial agreements where further value can be extracted and where value must be protected.

Excellent negotiation skills. Strong ability to conclude deals with clients and finalize sales agreements.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.

High standard of personal integrity.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business / Commerce (Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, etc) or in the field of Engineering (with relevant experience in marketing and sales).
