b) Carries out analysis by collecting data and analyses to determine reliability of components, equipment, systems and manufacturing processes.
Prepares reports to define reliability and availability problems, recommends improvements and supports the implementation of those improvements.
c) Conducts analysis of Qatalum’s Asset’s reliability problems and investigates to determine the reliability and availability required for particular situation considering cost limitations, asset lifecycle cost, repair vs.
replacement costs, spare parts to stock in the warehouse, etc. as required. (d) Conducts required studies to support the development of Qatalum’s strategies, policies, budgets, short term and long term improvement projects.
e) Provides engineering guidance and manages troubleshooting / investigation into complex Asset challenges and provides the necessary technical assistance when required.
f) In collaboration with the required departments, for example Engineering, studies the proposal for Asset changes and modifications to ensure that all proposed changes will meet plant availability, reliability, maintainability, safety in operation.
