About the role :

As a Cabin Safety Instructor responsible to ensure the highest standards of regulatory Cabin Safety training, which corresponds to Qatar Civil Aviation requirements, are delivered through the professional design and delivery of training courses, encouraging and stimulating the learning process in order to develop individual Flight Crew and Cabin Crew job competency.

To deliver a high standard of customer service and safety on board all Qatar Executive aircrafts contributing to consistent service excellence.

Ensure all safety measures, regulations and policies are applied in the cabin.

Accountabilities :

  • Conduct First Aid and SEP Training for Flight Deck and Cabin Crew members. Support the delivery and development of Training Programs.
  • Apply the best practice methodology when conducting training. Communicate effectively with colleagues for training related issues and with partner departments to obtain Training related information.

  • Ensure all training documentation is up to date.
  • Ensure the training records are in conformity with the governing regulations and company processes.
  • Liaise with the Ground Training and Cabin Safety Manager to ensure the regulatory training is effectively delivered.
  • Develop lesson plans, handouts and training aids as approved by Senior Manager Training with a view to encourage and stimulate the learning process of crew.
  • Control and administration of applicable examinations (Practical and Theory).
  • Maintain legal documents and licenses required for flying duties to ensure that operational flow will not get affected.
  • Adhere to company procedures, operational standards and policies in accordance with the Service, Grooming and Administrative manuals.
  • Deliver a safe environment to Qatar Executive clients and crew on-board, through safe work practice and adequate SEP (Safety Emergency Procedures) knowledge.

  • Maintain excellent knowledge of operating fleet; aircraft specifics, locations of products, service and safety equipment and technical features.
  • Provide hospitable and professional inflight experience to all clients. Perform on-board service in accordance to Qatar Executive service process and standards, in order to maintain the highest level of Customer Service.
  • Understand, anticipate and deliver the highest level of service to all clients by availing all their requests in a timely manner and maintaining integrity, confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

    Interact professionally with passengers and colleagues being mindful of language, posture and behavior.

  • Plan catering orders of cost-effective menus in relation to passenger profiles and available cuisine. Practice personal shopping for a more tailored and cost-effective service.
  • Provide comprehensive and accurate post flight documents, as per standards and procedures.
  • Respect and maintain company property; report misuse, damage and waste. Uphold cabin supplies in terms of quality and inventory, particularly when the aircraft is away from base, in order to reduce costs associated with breakages and losses.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and well-groomed cabin, galley and lavatories.
  • Operate as Cabin Crew.
  • Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department
  • About you

    Qualifications and Experience :

  • High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) or Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience
  • Essential

  • Minimum 2 Years as Flying Crew within Qatar Executive.
  • Current and valid Cabin Crew Qualification.
  • Preferred

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Experience as a First Aid Instructor in a comparable operator.
  • Job Specific Skills :


  • Computer literate with a thorough knowledge of MS Office
  • Command of English language
  • A good understanding of Aviation Medicine / First Aid.
  • Well-developed inter personal team-oriented skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet immovable deadlines.
  • Preferred

  • Completed Train the Trainer’s course.
  • Experience in teaching and training in a multi-cultural environment.
