  • Business and Client Development· To develop and implement business and client development strategy and plan· To manage relationships with stakeholders to build and maintain a sustainable client pipeline· To define potential target customers for the model factory (in terms of sectors, geography and size)· To refine communication / marketing plan in line with the business plan to target customers· To prepare and update communication / marketing material· To execute the communication plan (e.

    g, visits, meetings, roundtables, publications, interviews)· To conduct stakeholder mapping exercise and develop relationships with major public / private bodies identified as key stakeholders· To identify public / private funding opportunities both for the model factory itself and for the SMEs who will participate in / benefit from model factory services· To analyze feedback from potential, current and past clients and to propose actions to improve the offerings of the model factory502.

    Client Service· To communicate with the senior management of participating companies· To deliver awareness-raising seminars· To deliver certain modules during the SME training programs especially in management systems and mindset & behaviour topics· To support the academic projects carried out in the Center203.

    Management· To prepare, update and implement the Center's annual work plan· To coordinate the relations between the project and involved organizations· To identify, approve and implement pricing policy for the services offered· To manage the performance evaluation and monitoring processes of the Model Factory staff· To carry out managerial issues regarding budget preparation and managing & monitoring incomes and expenses of the Center· To handle strategic aspects of development and investment (i.

  • e., defining investment proposals for the deepening / innovation of training areas and future use cases as well as expansion plans);
  • to manage the allocated resources, to verify the implementation of the objectives and the results achieved· To fulfill additional tasks, as required by / (and Model Factory Management Board)30II.

    Reporting StructureHe / she reports and Management Board of the Center (TBD by)III.Minimum Qualifications and ExperienceEducation : At least master’s Degree in industrial engineering or MBA Degree with bachelor of science in industrial, mechanical, electrical & electronics, mechatronics and management engineering.

    Experience : 15 years of professional working experienceLanguage requirements : Fluent written and spoken English Arabic is an assetComputer skills : Microsoft Office, MS ProjectIV.

    Skills and Competencies· Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with a minimum 10 years’ experience on industrial enterprises process improvement, transformation, business development etc.

  • Proven previous experience in project / program design, implementation and management· At least 2 years’ experience in development of training and consultancy programs / services, and / or providing those kinds of services will be an asset· Strong experience in practising and / or coaching on lean transformation in a manufacturing context· At least 5 years of people management experience (leading a team of at least 5 team members)· Experience in managing the P&L of a department / division / unit with operating expenses of at least USD 1 million will be an asset· Proven record of knowledge and experience on lean production or operations management (in manufacturing industry will be an asset)· At least 2 years’ experience in marketing or client development will be an asset· Exposure to working with or knowledge of SME companies in Qatar will be an asset· Strong leadership, persuasive abilities· Excellent communication skillsSample Screening Questions : · Do you have advanced knowledge and experience on lean production or operations management, preferrably in manufacturing industry?
