Qualification
College Education / Certification or Professional Diploma in Physical Education, Sports or Fitness Management, Aerobics. Additional knowledge such as Yoga, Pilates and others is a plus.
Experience
2-5 Years working experience in the hospitality industry preferably as a Fitness Instructor.

Job Description
Ensure to carry out fitness testing, implement fitness programs, conduct fitness classes, evaluation, make programs and instruct proper execution.
Organize and supervise regular fitness related activities and events to maximize members satisfaction.
Provide advice to individuals on the correct method of exercising with fitness equipment.
Ensure all Club members are instructed on the proper safe usage of the Gym equipment and spa facilities.
Assess individual's current exercise program and level of fitness to develop personalized exercise programs and provide fitness counseling.
Compile fitness programs for guests and members according to their perceived goals, ensuring adequate follow up and assistance to maintain accurate records / programs.
Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
Prior to start of the operations, checks on guest amenities and supplies in the area, to ensure that these are sufficient for the day’s operation.
Keep up to date with current promotions and pricing for Recreation & other Club facilities, to provide information to guests upon request, while maximizing every sales opportunities.
Responds to the members’ inquiries on the sports and recreation facilities and services, making sure that the information given is complete, accurate and timely.
Note down all reservations and appointments, ensuring needed information are requested from the guests and recorded.
Briefs the members on whatever safety instructions needed prior to performance of any exercises or activities, Observes members using the facilities in health club / gymnasium and immediately offers assistance as may be required.
Be able to provide basic First Aid in the event of any minor accidents, to be fully aware of the procedure in the event of a major accident / emergency.
Cleans and assists in maintaining the squash court and equipment before and after use.
Immediately reports and turn over lost and found item to lost & found office, following required procedures at all times.
Reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop; move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
To be aware of all safety and fire drill procedures and attend training conducted by the Training and the Engineering Departments.
Perform all work related requests made by the Director of Recreation, which may or might not be directly in the scope of work.
Cleans and assists in maintaining the recreation equipment before and after use.
