DohaPermanentThe incumbent will be responsible for managing the Strategy execution of one of the Group’s subsidiaries. Responsibility includes managing and liaising with the subsidiary’s strategy execution teams for developing, executing and monitoring the annual Business Plan, Capital Expenditure (CapEx) plan, Performance Management process as well as the Project Management Office (PMO) with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities : 1. Shareholder & Financial : Align the annual Business Plan, CapEx plan and Performance Management with the bank’s strategic objectivesContinuously manage and review the business, support and control divisions scorecards (incl.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), goals and objectives) of each subsidiary on a quarterly basis as part of the group wide performance managementDevelop all PMO and performance management related information on a regular basis to the Executive Management and the Board for regular update, performance monitoring, quality assessment and decision makingMonitor, review and report on execution of the portfolio of subsidiary’s strategic projects (PMO)Manage and coordinate the regular update of project information through the preparation of project status reports, as well as other reports (e.
g. KPI Performance Management) and management information as requiredDevelop and foster a project management and performance management culture at the subsidiary, and provide direct assistance / coaching where necessaryEnsure group wide standards, methodology and tools for Business and CapEx planning, Performance Management and PMO are fully adopted and adhered to by the assigned subsidiary2.
Customer (Internal & External) : Develop all business, support and control divisions’ business plans and CapEx plans on an annual basis in close alignment with the subsidiaryCoordinate and align with the subsidiary with respect to input for business and CapEx planning and performance management related mattersManage the portfolio of strategic projects (PMO) to pro-
actively flag issues / risks and escalate as necessary to Executive ManagementProvide guidance on the planning, prioritization and definition of business plans, performance management and projects at the subsidiary based on QNB’s overall strategy, and maintain a forward looking view / plan throughout the yearSupervise the project initiation process for planned and ad hoc projects, including the review and validation of project charters against subsidiary’s Business Plan and CapEx planDetermine and communicate dependencies of projects or divisional plans across divisions and address roadblocksTrain subsidiary strategy execution team on the process to manage all components of the project lifecycle : initiation, kickoff, execution, and project closure and associated templates and documentationBuild and maintain strong and effective relationships with head office divisions and subsidiaryto ensure the successful completion of group-
wide activities within defined time frame4.
