Supervision of Subordinates
Organise and supervise the activities and work of subordinates toensure that all work within a specific area of the activity iscarried out in an efficient manner, which is consistent withoperating procedures and policy.
Provide on-the-jobtraining, coaching and constructive feedback to subordinates tosupport their overall development. This will include an InsuranceProduct Specialist as a direct report and a small team of telesalesinsurance agents.Product Strategy
Responsible forformulating the Retail wide product insurance strategy and ensurethe implementation and delivery of underlying productobjectives.
Budgets, Planning and monitoring
Contribute tothe preparation of the budget and monitor financial performanceversus the budget, in order to ensure that the business is aware ofanticipated costs / revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performanceare identifiedBanking Products
Facilitateconceptualization, design and review Retail Banking Insuranceproducts through the utilization of analytics data, market insightsand internal capabilities.
Work with relevant stakeholders in orderto provide the bank with captivating customer offers in order towin in the market place.
Implement, communicate andmonitor Retail Banking products (by liaising with key stakeholders,developing activity and enhancing service, product and brandofferings whenever possible) in order to drive growth and maintainretention of customers.
Manage product and delivery ofinsurance products through effective management of insuranceproviders
Ensure insurance related products arecompetitive and aligned to the bank’s strategy andcustomer needsReporting and Operational Needs Assessment
Provide periodic and / or ad hoc reports and analysis for Retailbanking product and proposition performance, in order to providesenior management with insights and clarity of banking productcurrent activities and performanceWealth Management
Support the implementation and ongoing development of wealthmanagement through provision of relevant product suppliers asrequired
Ensure wealth management offering is competitiveand in line with international standards
Monitor productdevelopment and third party product supplier management, pricingand maintenanceAcquisitions of Salaried Accounts / TargetCustomers
Plan and drive customer acquisition and crosssale, by developing products that appeal to targeted customers andare market leading.
