Under the supervision of the Registrar, supports the academic and administrative management of the registrar services for all academic programs of WCM-Q.
Coordinating Student Health and Immunization requirements to ensure that students are compliant with WCM-Q and WCM-NY requirements and procedures.
Ensures that immunization for traveling students complies with their destinations requirement.
Review submitted medical and immunization records to determine if requirements have been met. Initiate records holds for students who are out of compliance.
Maintains up-to-date immunization records for the registered students.
Work with ITS to design and implement a tracking system to monitor completion of requirements as well as notify students who may become non-
compliant due to necessary boosters. Maintains the confidentiality of the mandated student health records.
Enrollment and Registration : Coordinates the enrollment of students in the Foundation and Premedical Curriculum; Coordinates the process for setting up class schedules and rosters for the Foundation and Premedical students.
Conducts the course registration in the Premedical Curriculum in compliance with program and school regulations; Coordinates cross-
registration for students and other branch campuses. Collects, records, and maintains student records including grades.
Produces and disseminates reports within FERPA guidelines (e.g., grades, registration data, and transcripts) ensuring compliance, timeliness, and accuracy.
Enroll, track, audit, and report information necessary to certify academic progress toward the yearly promotion including changes in status such as leaves and probation
Data Management and Reports : Assists in the development and maintenance of appropriate databases and electronic systems to support the Registrar function.
Maintain student contact information and informs other departments accordingly.
Records and maintains all change of student status such as leave of absence and attendance information; Coordinates the preparation, transcript dissemination and up to date accuracy of transcripts for the Foundation and Premedical Curriculum students.
Assists in preparing reports to faculty and other University departments, agencies and to other entities as required. Compiles statistical information and creates spreadsheets in compliance with FERPA and other applicable legal regulations as needed.
Collaborates with other staff in maintaining student information system and web interface as they pertain to Registrar function and services.
Provides staff support to the College's Promotion and Graduation Committee including setting meeting dates, compiling agenda, generating reports and writing, distributing minutes and monitoring required follow-up actions.
Directs and manages the collection and distribution of Deans List letters. Drafts routine correspondence and creates templates for tracking documents.
Office of the Registrar Administration : Contributes to the development and maintenance of the Registrars Office policies and procedures manual, ensuring compliance and consistency in own area of operations.
Assists with the development and revision of Registrar related printed publications including Student Handbook. Provides coverage in Registrars absence to assure continued function of Registrars Office.
Liaises with WCM-Q faculty, staff, and students, WCM-NY, CU-Ithaca and QF administrative staff, as appropriate and as directed.
Training : Trains new Registrar staff on relevant policies, practices, and procedures. Assists the Registrar with material preparation for FERPA / HIPAA training for students.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar was established in 2001 as a partnership between Cornell University and Qatar
Foundation. The first medical school in Qatar and a pioneer of coeducation at university level, WCM-Q offers an integrated program of pre-
medical and medical studies leading to the Cornell University M.D. degree. Teaching is by Cornell and Weill Cornell faculty, including physicians at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) who hold Weill Cornell appointments.
Enrollment has grown rapidly from 25 first year pre-medical students in fall 2002 to over 200 students from more than 30 countries as we entered our sixth year of operation in September 2007.
