The Power ProductionTechnician Lead is responsible for the operation, maintenance andinspection of power production equipment.
Operates and maintains diesel and gas generatingunits.
Operates and maintains auxiliaryequipment.
Inspects equipment formalfunctions
Performs QA inspections as laidout in the site Quality Control Plan.
Ensuresall assigned and required tasks are performed during theirshift.
Oils, greases and adjusts machinery andequipment and makes minor repairs.
Makesperiodic inspections to see that all equipment and controls areoperating properly and are in good condition.
Maintains consumption, waste records and fills out thedaily logbook.
Maintains all appropriate HAZforms and binders, i.e. AF IMT 3952, MSDS
Performs all daily, weekly, monthly and annualinspections as required on SAP.
Reportsdefects and recommends improvements, alterations andrepairs.
Maintains inventory lists andrequisitions supplies, materials and repair parts.
Cleans floors, windows, tools and power plantequipment.
Assists in training othertechnicians on new procedures and advanced work relatedtasks.
Performs related work appropriate tothe classification as assigned.
Keeps recordsof fuel used, power production, and general operatingconditions.
Performs all other tasks deemedessential by Site Manager.
Perform otherqualified duties as assigned
