For Assistant Professor A PhD oran equivalent Terminal degree in TEFL or a related- program ofstudy. A minimum of 5 years teaching experience in apost-secondary, adult training or industry training environment,along with 5 years of employment experience as apractitioner / professional within a relevant discipline.

Candidatesshould also be recognized in the following criteria :

  • contribution to the advancement of knowledgethrough applied research, scholarship, publication, knowledgetransfer or professional practice which would be expected to beinternational in its scope;
  • contribution to the advancement of learning by theleadership of teaching and curriculum development;
  • professional recognition and standingamongst peers;
  • academic subjectleadership or academic management
  • For Senior Lecturer (Senior TechnicalInstructor)

  • A minimumof Master’s degree (or equivalent as designated andapproved) in a relevant discipline from a recognized, accreditedinstitution.
  • A minimum of years teaching experience in a post-secondary, adulttraining, or industry training environment,
  • A minimum of years of employment experience asa practitioner / professional within the relevantdiscipline.
  • PreferredQualifications :

  • Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Education (e.g. CELTA,DELTA, Post-secondary Education, Adult Education or VocationalEducation)
  • Record of successfulparticipation / leadership in applied research projects
  • Experience in leadership and innovation intechnology based project
  • Other RequiredSkills :

  • Commitment toapplied and experiential learning as a pedagogy and a key featureof the College’s mandate
  • Ability to design, develop, deliver, and evaluateauthentic learning experiences and assessments incorporatingcontemporary tools and resources to maximize content learning incontext and to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudesidentified in program outcomes
  • Digital literacy and demonstrated fluency in technologysystems, and an ability to model and facilitate use of current andemerging digital tools to support research and learning
  • Demonstrated ability to developtechnology-enriched learning environments that enable students tobe active participants in their own learning
  • Commitment to the effectiveness, vitality, andself-renewal of the teaching profession through self-drivencontinuous professional development and life-longlearning
  • Effective oral andwritten communication skills
