About your role : you will be responsible for the development and the effective & efficient performance of Wholesale Dept, develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goal and profitability.
Drive the performance and development to increase turnover and profitability.Provide leadership and direction in the development and implementation of the strategic plan and objectives within its operations.
Identify and open new retail accounts and channels and working with existing wholesale customers to increase revenue in line with agreed budgetsOversee the preparation of action plans for individual as well as for team for effective search of sales leads and prospectsEstimate sales potential marketwise / dealer wise / competitor wise and prepare sales plan on annual basis.
Monitor and ensure proper availability of necessary goods at the various sales channels ensuring cost effective logistics operations.
Identify new product development opportunities that will drive sales, and communicate these requirements to the business.
Scrutinize dealer network management, identify and select new dealers / distributors through proper market mapping.Maintain accuracy of all pricing, sales and activity reports submitted by Accounts Department.
Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high level of client satisfaction.People developmentTake overall responsibility for people development initiatives and building up in-house capabilities for the employees across the group.
Drive a performance driven culture in the team by timely monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members.
