Supervision of Subordinates
Organise and supervise the activities and work ofsubordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of theactivity is carried out in an efficient manner, which is consistentwith operating procedures and policy.
Provide on-the-job training, coaching and constructive feedback tosubordinates to support their overall development. This willinclude an Insurance Product Specialist as a direct report and asmall team of telesales insurance agents.
Responsible forformulating the Retail wide product insurance strategy and ensurethe implementation and delivery of underlying productobjectives.
Budgets, Planning andmonitoring
Contribute to the preparation ofthe budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget, inorder to ensure that the business is aware of anticipatedcosts / revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance areidentified
Facilitate conceptualization, design and reviewRetail Banking Insurance products through the utilization ofanalytics data, market insights and internal capabilities.
Workwith relevant stakeholders in order to provide the bank withcaptivating customer offers in order to win in the marketplace.
Implement, communicate and monitorRetail Banking products (by liaising with key stakeholders,developing activity and enhancing service, product and brandofferings whenever possible) in order to drive growth and maintainretention of customers.
Manage product and delivery ofinsurance products through effective management of insuranceproviders
Ensure insurance related productsare competitive and aligned to the bank’s strategy andcustomer needs
Reporting andOperational Needs Assessment
Provideperiodic and / or ad hoc reports and analysis for Retail bankingproduct and proposition performance, in order to provide seniormanagement with insights and clarity of banking product currentactivities and performance
Support the implementation andongoing development of wealth management through provision ofrelevant product suppliers as required
Ensure wealth management offering is competitive and in line withinternational standards
Monitor productdevelopment and third party product supplier management, pricingand maintenance
Acquisitions ofSalaried Accounts / Target Customers
Plan anddrive customer acquisition and cross sale, by developing productsthat appeal to targeted customers and are market leading.
Work with internal stakeholders to achieveacquisition strategies across all segments and nationalities inorder to generate customer acquisition growth and revenue for thebank
