As Environment, Health & Safety Safety Coordinator, you are responsible for ensuring that all food handlers comply with, in the strictest possible manner, the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) at any given point in food & beverage preparation and delivery.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities :
Attend the briefing at the start of shift to give and receive important information for the day’s operation.
Develop policies and procedures in food safety preparation and delivery in line with HACCP and ensure that these are followed by all food handlers.
Ensure that the food preparation and handling facilities, tools and equipment comply with all the requirements of food safety standards.
Regularly monitor and check the food handling practices of the kitchen and restaurant team and make a corresponding correction for improvement.
Communicate to all F&B team any update on food safety legislation and make a program for its immediate implementation, where necessary.
Conduct learning session / training to all associates regarding food quality application, food safety protocol and policies.
Know the facilities, daily events & functions and social events around Doha, in order to provide correct information and address guest queries. General Responsibilities :
Contribute in creating a high morale and team spirit by maintaining an effective relationships with all the associates in the Company.
Be polite and professional in any situation where the image of the Restaurant and AKH is represented.
Follow strictly the working hours according to the duty roster issued by your superior.
Report any electrical or housekeeping defect in order to maintain the Restaurant in top physical condition.
Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and food hygiene and safety.
Know the safety, fire and emergency procedures. Occasional Responsibilities :
Participate in any training / development scheme as recommended by senior management.
Perform other related tasks, as may be assigned to you by your superior from time to time. Legal Responsibilities :
Ensure that the standards required by Law and by Management are maintained at all times in the areas specified above.
