MinimumRequirements :

  • UnlimitedMaster Mariner's license in compliance with STCWII / 2;
  • Minimum 5 years shore experience as MarineSuperintendent in Offshore Company

    Middle EastExperience

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Ensuring Company owned and managed vessels areoperated as per contractual requirement in a safe, efficient andeconomical manner in full compliance with best operationalpractises.
  • Liaising with Ship Management,commercial and vessel Masters and monitor that certification inplace as per contract.
  • Undertake vessel visitto monitor compliance for equipment and crew to meet contractualrequirements at all times
  • Responsible forpreparing contract status report and advising Ship Management forthe necessary requirement. Coordinate with Ship Management andensure we are in compliance with all codes as required.
  • Strong interaction on regular basis with clients andattend operational meetings as necessary.
  • Active coordination with all stake holders for vesselplanning for operations / maintenance.
  • Regularvessel visits and interphase between client and ship management asneeded.
  • Actively promoting safety awarenessamong all Company Personnel / vessels.
  • Asrequired, undertake offshore visit to vessels on location toconduct on board training to the Officers and crew for marinematters.
  • Taking over new Build vessels orInspection of vessels as required by the Management.
  • Assisting in internal and external audits ofvessels.
  • Support in an internal OVIDinspections (Ship management) of vessels in preparation for allcharterers.
  • Budget Control and Revision andco-ordination of Budget compliance in conjunction with VP-commercial and business development.
  • Liaisewith clients, ship management and surveyors for contractualissues
  • Provide recommendations on newsubordinate hires and ensure the availability of all resourcesrequired to perform assigned tasks and activities
  • Supervise subordinate staff, assign work activities,monitor performance and review results
  • Act asa coach to subordinates, identify their training and careerdevelopment, recommend training courses and follow-upon theirpersonnel records such as timesheets, discipline, vacations, leavesand absenteeism
  • Perform other job-relatedduties as assigned
